Aug. 20th, 2007 08:15 pmIt's a nice enough world as far as it goes.  One of those with awfully strict rules, though; Jamie's been stuck in school six days out of seven, weekends and evenings with a foster mother.   He's been with her two months, and she bought him nice clothes and spends long evenings telling him about the importance of getting good grades so he can make something of himself in the future.
He feels a bit guilty about running off on her, using the excuse of going to the grocery store, but only a bit. She's nice but dull - like the world itself, and, to be honest, the past six worlds before that. He's looking forward to getting somewhere a bit more flexible, even aside from the eternal twitching and inner pulling that sets up whenever it's time to move on.
And it's a RANDOM Boundary. Which means he could end up anywhere.
